West African Football Academy (WAFA) defender Konadu Yiadom has confirmed Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are interested in his services.
Konadu Yiadom joined the WAFA Academy when he was only 17 years old in 2018 from Tema United after impressing in the national division two league.
The 19-year-old went on to make six appearances in his debut season for the academy boys before the season was truncated due to the Anas expose.
And now the player in an interview with Kumasi-based Angel FM has revealed two local giants Asante Kotoko and rivals Hearts of Oak and a host of unknown foreign clubs are after his services.
“It’s true a lot of clubs are after me both locally and foreign but I’ve left everything to my management to decide”
“They’ve not told me the names of the foreign clubs but I know of Kotoko and Hearts locally”
“No management member of Hearts or Kotoko have personally contacted me but I know they are in talks with my management and I am ready for any club, be it local or foreign only if it will help my career”
The lanky defender has featured in 14 matches with two goals to his account in the suspended 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
