The Board of Directors of Asante Kotoko as at the time this report was filled were at the Anane Boateng Stadium to inspect the ultra-modern stadium at Abrankese, according to reports from Oyerepa FM.
Myfabulousonline.com earlier reported that the new board are considering to purchase the Anane Boateng Stadium from Kessben Group of Companies.
The Board met today, July 3, 2020, in Kumasi and after the meeting proceeded to the Adako Jachie Training Complex and went on to inspect the Anane Boateng Stadium. The board will after the inspection go to the club’s secretariat to inspect the facility.
Meanwhile, the Anane Boateng Sports Stadium is a multi-use stadium built by Mr Kwabena Kess the C.E.O of Kessben Group of Companies at Abrankese near Kuntenase in the Bosomtwe District of Ashanti Region.
It is currently used as gathering grounds for thousands of people, mostly members of the Moments of Glory Prayer Army (MOGPA). The 12,000 capacity stadium which was opened in 2007 was the home venue for Kessben FC, now Medeama SC.
