Asante Kotoko striker Franck Mbella Etouga has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 giants Stade Rennais, according to reports in the local media.
Mbella has been one of the standout players in the Ghana Premier League this season, scoring 11 goals in the league and currently sits top of the goal king chart.
Reports suggest that, the 20-year-old the French club have been monitoring the Cameroonian forward and have shown interest in signing him but yet to send official bid to Asante Kotoko.
It is not clear whether the league leaders will be willing to sell their marksman in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Kotoko are eyeing the Ghana Premier League title and returning to the CAF Champions League next season.
