Medeama SC goalkeeper, Eric Ofori-Antwi has included Asante Kotoko trio of Christopher Nettey, Habib Mohammed and Ibrahim Imoro in his team of the season, acknowledging the fine form of the Kotoko stars in the first round of the 2019/20 truncated Ghana premier league campaign.
The 2019-2020 campaign was fifteen games old before it was declared null and void by the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) Executive Council (EXCO) in respect to the directives of the president as the country battled the rapidly spreading global pandemic.
However, that didn’t stop the former Asante Kotoko custodian as he has drafted the team that impressed him the most in the cancelled season.
Ofori Antwi named himself in the post with Christopher Nettey as operating from the right side of the defence. He featured in 13 games (1.115 minutes) with two assists and one most valuable player (MVP) which came in a game against Ashantigold in Kumasi. He also earned nominations for Asante Kotoko player of the month in January and February.
On the left side of defence was another Porcupine in the shape of Imoro Ibrahim. He has 11 appearances in the league, scoring once which was against Bechem United in Accra and assisting twice.
