Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has revealed that the club will soon introduce ‘The Legend’s Time’ before every game played by the Porcupines.
The idea of this initiative is to align the new players on how important it is playing for Kotoko and how players in the past’s dedication and selflessness brought laurels to the club.
The ex-stars of the club are now seen more closer to the team than before under Nana Yaw Amponsah’s administration and he will capitalize on that to the current players’ benefit.
Speaking during his presentation for the African Sports Centre’s (ASC) Ghana Premier League Webinar with the Johan Cruyff Institute, Amponsah said:
“We are going to introduce ‘The Legend’s Time’, where every match, we bring in legends of Kotoko. We have video footage of let’s say 1983 Champions League final, you have somebody who was there live playing, he takes you through the experience, how it felt, and all that,”
The team is currently preparing for their Ghana Premier League matchday five fixture against Karela United at the CAM Park on Sunday afternoon.
