In the past couple of weeks, significant steps have been taken towards the return of the Premier League, six months after the last game the Porcupines played.
On Wednesday, the fixtures for the 2020-21 Ghana Premier League games were announced following the lifting of ban on contact sports.
That came one week after Maxwell Konadu and his men had started training at Adako Jachie, for the first time since the lockdown to begin our preseason.
However, shortly after the club’s training session on Friday, Maxwell Konadu spoke to the media and reacted to the look of the new fixture lists.
“I do not even know which team we are playing next after our opener against Techiman Eleven Wonders. My focus is the first match against Wonders. That is what is on my mind and Eleven Wonders must fall. None of the players has ever spoken about the fixtures. It is the Premier League we are talking about. It is just that, this time around, we want to do much better than we did last season”
The club is expected to leave Kumasi after this morning training to Koforidua to begin their preseason in the Eastern Region.
