Kotoko’s Danlad Ibrahim Pens Emotional Farewell Message To Chelsea
Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has penned a farewell letter to Berekum Chelsea Football Club after leaving Golden City Park following the conclusion of his loan deal.
The 17-year-old left the Porcupines to join the Bibires on loan last season having failed to break into the Asante Kotoko first team.
Having missed just a game in the cancelled season, Danlad became the first shot-stopper to go unbeaten in the first 6 games of the truncated 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
The Ghana U-20 shot-stopper kept 9 clean sheets, won 8, lost 4 and drawn 2 games in his debut GPL campaign. His biggest defeat was against Elmina Sharks, the game ended 3-1.
He thus return to Asante Kotoko after the expiration of his loan deal with the Berekum-based club. He took to his Twitter account to thank them for their support during this spell in the team.
