Asante Kotoko latest signee, Charles Owusu will depart Ghana for UAE later today, Myfabulousonline.com have gathered.
The stalwart defender completed his move to the Porcupines from lower-tier side B.A United last week.
He joins the club until 2024 on a three-year deal after passing his mandatory medical examination.
Owusu will join Samuel Boateng and Augustine Agyapong who are currently in Ghana to join the rest of the team in Dubai today for the preseason.
Agyapong and Boateng didn’t not make the trip to the Gulf country last week due to visa hitches.
Head Coach Prosper Nartey Ogum and his technical team will be hoping to use this period to adequately prepare for the new season.
The team on Thursday morning lost their first friendly match to lower-tier side Al Hilal United courtesy Christopher Nettey’s own goal.
The Porcupines have set sights on winning the Premier league title for the first time since 2014 and will begin their season with an away game against Dreams Fc in Dawu on October 31st.
