Imoro Ibrahim’s wonderful volley against Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams has been named Asante Kotoko’s goal of the month for December in a poll of Reds supporters.
The diminutive left-back scored a stunner against Dreams FC in week 6 of the Ghana Premier League, a goal that gave the current technical team their first victory after taking over from Maxwell Konadu.
The 21-year-old latched onto a poor clearance from Dreams FC defence at the edge of the 18-yard box and thumping the ball into the roof of the net.
1,878 votes since the competition was opened on Thursday was cast, Imoro got more than 5 times the votes of his two contenders.

The former Karela United man won the poll convincingly with more than three-quarters of the vote (80.7%). Kwame Opoku’s strike against Medeama came second with 15.3% votes while Osman Ibrahim’s winner against Legon Cities came last with just 4% of the votes.
Imoro takes home products worth 5,000 Ghana cedis from sponsors of the club Hisense.
