Former Asante Kotoko striker, Frank Etouga Mbella, has expressed his belief that the team will emerge as winners of the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
Mbella, who is a Cameroonian international, was instrumental in helping the Porcupine Warriors win the title last season, scoring 21 goals under the guidance of Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
Despite Kotoko’s inconsistent form this season, Mbella is confident that they will turn things around and defend their title.
The defending champions are currently in fourth place with 28 points, trailing leaders Aduana Stars by seven points. However, they have not won any of their last seven away games.
“I’ve been following the team and the performance. They have a good group. I sincerely think they will win the Ghana Premier League again,” he predicted in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
