Asante Kotoko are said to have drafted a four-man shortlist of defenders ahead of the closure of the Second transfer window, according to reports.
With injuries to Sheriff Mohammed and Yussif Mubarik, Seydou Zerbo’s side will be looking towards the market to find their replacements in the second transfer window.
With Christopher Nettey already out of the club to join Olympics, the club have drafted a shortlist of four players who they may look to sign this month for their defence.
One of those included is said to be Cameroonian centre-back Salomon Banga who according to various reports have already reportedly seal a loan move to join the Reds from Sudanese giants Al Hilal until the end of the season and will soon arrive in Ghana for begin his Kotoko adventure.
Sylvester Appiah, a Hearts of Oak target who was recently released by Zimbabwean side Dynamos FC and Kwadwo Addai, former Karela United captain whose contract recently exhausted are also said to be on the aforementioned shortlist.
Last on the list is former Hearts of Oak deputy skipper, Mohammed Alhassan who has been rumored to be joining Kotoko since leaving Hearts of Oak.
