Ace sports journalist, Dan Kweku Yeboah has lavished praise on Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama Dos Santos following a massive breakthrough season with the Porcupines.
The Porcupines signed the Brazilian midfielder on a free transfer in November 2020 but came under serious objection even before kicking a ball from some section of the media and the public.
However, Gama has silenced his doubters by repaying the confidence of management and the technical staff with his dazzling performances, becoming the toast of fans of the Reds.
And Dan Kwaku Yeboah has joined the chorus of praise for the 28-year-old talented former Brazilian youth international – admitting that Gama is a top-quality player.
“Fabio Gama is obviously a top-quality and he will surely improve Asante Kotoko as we have all witnessed,” he said on Adepa TV on StarTimes after Kotoko’s defeat to Medeama last week.
“His ball control and reading of the game is fantastic and he reminds me of Jordan Opoku. For me, he is a good player”
Gama has scored two goals and provided two assists for Kotoko in 15 games this season.
