Asante Kotoko are in advanced talks to re-sign former striker Kwame Opoku Nimo.
The 22-year-old joined Reds from Division One League club, Nkoranza Warriors in 2020 and quickly hit the ground running in his debut season before completing a move to USM Algers two seasons ago.
His career has been plaque with series of injuries since his move to Algeria and has been sent out on loan to many clubs to revive his career.
The Black Stars striker asked to leave USMA this summer, because he wanted a change of scenery to revive his career. However, a move to Saudi Arabian club Najran SC on a one-season loan last month with option to buy was unsuccessful as the club terminated the deal after just some few weeks.
The management of Asante Kotoko has however been engaging the 22-year-old striker for a possible return to the Porcupines with the player already interested in a move back home.
Myfabulousonline.com understands the striker is in talks with his parent club for contract termination to aid his return to Kotoko as he believe this move will allow him bounce back and also helped Kotoko to retain their league title and in their quest to make impact in Africa this season.
