Asante Kotoko will take on Legon Cities in Premier League action on Saturday evening in a game in which Mariano Barreto’s side would be backed to secure all three points against a side that is languishing in the drop zone of the league standings.

The Porcupines suffered a painful defeat at the hands of Medeama SC at the Len Clay Stadium last weekend and would be looking to bounce back from that shocking defeat.

The defeat dented Kotoko’s perfect start under the Portuguese which dropped the Reds from first to the second position on the league log with just a point separating them and first-placed Medeama.

Razak Abalora would be expected once again as the figure between the sticks for Kotoko with the Black Stars goalie having cemented his status as the first-choice option ahead of Felix Annan and Kwame Baah.

Changes could be made in the backline with Christopher Nettey to come in at the right-back role to replace Samuel Frimpong who hasn’t been impressive in his last two outings for the club.

The Mudasiru Salifu and Habib Mohammed’s midfield pairing is likely to continue with Fabio Gama expected to complete the midfield three.
