Cameroonian defender, Salomon Charles Banga Bindjeme is joining Asante Kotoko from Sudanese giants Al Hilal, according to Ghanaian journalist Nuhu Adams.
Banga, 27, will join the Porcupines on a loan until the end of the season and there is no option to make the deal permanent.
The centre-back is cutting short a loan spell at Moroccan club Difaa El Jadida to join Kotoko after failing to command a starting place.
He joined Al Hilal from Difaa El Jadida in 2021 after impressing in the Moroccan league.
Al Hilal loaned him back to El Jadida in January 2023 but the loan has been cancelled and will be heading to Kotoko.
The defender who had an outstanding campaign during the CHAN 2020 tournament in Cameroon is expected in Ghana in the coming days to complete his transfer.
