Brazilian striker Michael Vinicius has arrived in Ghana to begin his Asante Kotoko adventure.
The lanky forward joined the Porcupines as a free agent on a two-and-a-half-year deal in the second transfer window.
The 28-year old touched down on Friday, March 26 and will join his teammates in the coming days at the Adako Jachie training complex in Kumasi.
The former Brazilian forward is expected to strengthen the attack of the Porcupines ahead of the second round of the Ghana premier league.
Vinicius arrived in the country with his brother and was met at the airport by Nana Yaw Amponsah, David Obeng Nyarko and Christopher Damenya. He will be introduced to the technical team and the entire playing body to familiarize himself with his new teammates.
Asante Kotoko have included the Brazilain in the registered players for the second round of the premier league.
He becomes the second Brazilian footballer to join the Kumasi-based club in the ongoing season after Fabio Gama dos Santos who was signed prior to the commencement of the season.
