Asante Kotoko board chairman, Dr. Kwame Kyei has stressed that the club is not considering selling top striker Franck Mbella Etouga at the end of the season.
According to the business mogul, the club needs the best players and cannot allow the top striker of the Ghana Premier League to leave when it is preparing to participate in Africa.
“As we participate in Africa, we can’t go without Mbella. We rather need more quality additions, so how can we sell our best player?
“We can’t let him go, we will do all we can to keep him,” Dr. Kwame Kyei told Akoma FM in an interview.
Franck Mbella joined Asante Kotoko in 2021 prior to the start of the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.
Since debuting for the reds, the Cameroonian has been unstoppable and is now set to run away with the golden boot award having netted 21 goals ahead of the last round of matches.
