Ghana Premier League side Medeama SC have beaten Asante Kotoko to the signing of Zakaria Mumuni until 2023.
The former WAFA winger has been a long-standing target for the Porcupines with recent reports indicating that Kotoko and the 24-year-old are back on the discussion table for a possible move.
The silky winger did express his desire to join the Porcupines after ending his stint with Congolese giants AS Vita Club few months ago.
However, Medeama have today unveiled Mumuni as their first signing of the second transfer window which was opened last week.
Mumuni has joined the Tarkwa-based side on a free transfer.
We are happy to announce the signing of winger Zakaria Mumuni on a two-year deal.
Welcome to Tarkwa and enjoy your stay champ!#MEDSC #MauveandYellow 💜💛
