Asante Kotoko Board of Directors have restricted themselves from speaking to the media to focus on their mandate.
The 12-member Board of Directors are expected to serve a 3-year term and will be required to invest in facilities with the construction of a stadium as a priority.
They have also been tasked to formulate policies for the two times African Champions and ensure they are able to compete locally and internationally.
In addition to that, the board is to ‘set up the Asante Kotoko SC academy and establish a new social impact with Asanteman to provide opportunities for the development of the youth within the communities for advancement through sports’.
According to Kwadwo Genfi, the newly constituted board will stretch themselves from the media and let their hard work do the talking for them.
“We have resolved to pull out from talking to the Media to restrict ourselves to the actual work. The work will ultimately do the talking for us. We are going to build something substantial for the supporters, and we will definitely do it,” Kojo Genfi revealed in an interview with Kumasi-based Opemsuo Radio.
The board on Friday, July 3, 2020, after a short meeting toured the Adako Jachie Training Grounds and proceeded to inspect the Anane Boateng Stadium in Abrankese as well as the club’s secretariat at Odeneho Kwadaso.
